Nan Gray

Dimensions: 16 x 20
Artist's Statement about this work: All of nature is a work of art. I saw this particular composition at Red Butte Garden and knew right away that it had to be a painting. The pops of red drew me right in, and I couldn't resist the hues in the ornamental cabbage. I hope the finished product, in some small way, represents the power and beauty of nature's art and affords the viewer a moment of pure enjoyment.

Kelly Holtman
$400.00

Dimensions: 12 x 9
Artist's Statement about this work: A pasquinade is satire delivered or displayed in a public place intended to mock or ridicule someone or something. More than ever, our private thoughts and feelings are displayed in public through social media. It is often done in a manner intended to grab a lot of attention while competing with obedient voices in a noisy world. This peace seeks to attract your attention through movement and bright dramatic colors. Only then, and only through humor and satire, can your voice be heard in these rebellious times.

Flower Bowl for All Seasons
Flower Bowl for All Seasons
Mariko Kowalski
$2,000.00

Dimensions: 15.5 x 21.5
Artist's Statement about this work: I put four season’s wild flowers and plants in the same bowl. Some flowers bloom in early spring, some in summer, or in autumn, and in winter. It is physically impossible to have such a flower arrangement in the same bowl. I wanted to depict wild flowers’ energy and strength through four seasons. They may not be so beautiful like store bought flowers, but have more powerful impact for me. This reflects not only how I view the flowers, it reflects my thoughts of how I view humans, too.
